@coldplushtoy EXACTLYYY!!! From what Kishimoto did with final horizons, I think we're moving closer to that direction, so if we get a system like that + multiple playable characters, and proper dev time, this game would bang so hard

@cbuckets42 they really just need to make momentum the main aspect of his gameplay again i think. boost is cool but imagine if it worked like how it does in the advanced games? you reach a certain speed and enter the boost state, that way you are rewarded for maintaining speed

@coldplushtoy Agreed, which is why we need to stop imitating and do something new! This next game needs to, at minimum, change how the boost works or remove it altogether

@cbuckets42 i love adventure/modern sonic, my favourite modern style game is unleashed and my favourite adventure styled gameplay is sa2 of, but i loved sa1 as well, funny, i actually like more of the spin offs vs the main line games, loved all the rush games and advance games too

@cbuckets42 yeah i get that, the level design is only one aspect for me though, sonic needs to feel satisfying to control and im just tire of the super restrictive kind of gameplay. unleashed did the boost formula the best and its just been cheap imitations of it ever since

@coldplushtoy All fair, especially on cyberspace/forces. The peak of modern Sonic was unleashed, but if this next game has level design that's closer to Frontiers DLC/later levels of SXSG, I would feel satisfied. It's all preference tho!

@cbuckets42 thing is, i really dont have faith that the current sonic team is capable of bringing sonic to the level of quality he deserves.... i hated forces, i hated sonic frontiers (cyberspace) and i dont like shadow gens. i just dont like the way they handle modern sonic's game feel
