@alexkrokus haha I drew SO MANY people for that party scene. I don't think anyone on the design team made it through that episode without drawing a lot of party people, but I truly drew so so so many. This is what happens when you're the token Theme Party Frequenter on a show.

@coleott @Dr_Kal_Drungus @eleanormichalka watched the first ep today and lovin it saw that party scene and was like "this looks like a bunch of cole drawings" tryna pace myself with the rest. everything is beautiful so far!!

I'd like to add: I've never been on an animated show like Carol & The End Of The World before. No sane show would shoot the concert scene in episode 1 so wide. I drew this whole crowd for just one quick shot! Part of why, I think Carol's, world feels both so big & so small ❤️

when you use a Photoshop brush with Color Jitter it should show you what the next semi-randomized color is gonna be, like Tetris. @Adobe

when we found the misplaced final pieces & put it together, I think all 12 of us had to quickly ask ourselves "ok wait did i ever commit & then forget some sort of incredible betrayal to either of the grooms? is my whole table about to get the Carrie-at-the-prom treatment?"

at a wedding on sat, the seating was written on puzzle pieces. each table's created a puzzle with a thematic kid's doodle (e.g. the h.s. friends' puzzle was the school mascot). my table didn't assemble ours until after we finished eating. how long do you think we have to live?

@alexxgrigg I’m still haunted by my missteps leading a team a few years ago (so many blindspots). So I love the idea! It feels like a valuable topic to get (non-MBA-holding) folks talking & thinking about more!

Making that jump was honestly one of the hardest times in my career. I think I want to make the course that I would have needed to watch 7 years ago...I reckon it would have helped me with crushing anxiety and a million late nights in the studio...

I've got two new Animation For Anyone classes cooking at the moment but I'm also thinking of making a "your first creative leadership job" class, about the jump from being a pure creative to dealing with clients, management and crew. Is that a crazy idea? Would anyone be into it?

@coleott Delete is simply too far away for how useful it is! Put it where it belongs, on the spacebar

experimenting with forbidden hotkey techniques that would drive lesser men to madness. (remapping Delete to a different key)

@virtualGIA_ listen, my Storyboard Pro setup was really good about letting me leave my left hand on the home row while drawing, with only ONE exception (Delete). I was just finally brave enough to take the plunge! (& i saw that ~ was unassigned, which i'm used to pressing for Clear in Ps)
