it's funny how dismissive this fandom is about the bigger picture because people keep reducing the issue to "hostility." the reactor issue has already been addressed, so maybe now it's time to focus on the fanbases' missing trs, missing tr updates, missing donation perks, and missing updates about the funds raised through merch, etc.
there are people trying to speak up, but they barely get noticed. and if they do, only one or two response. it even feels like you have to beg just to get an answer, then wait forever only to receive something that sounds like an automated shopee reply.
some people are scared to even ask questions, and honestly, can you blame them? every time someone tries to suggest something or raise concerns, blue checks immediately qrt them just to shut them up. then come the long essays about how these people have been here since the birth of christ blahblahblah, as if being here longer automatically makes concerns invalid.
you cry about hostility, but they are also rude. and no one one among you is even crying about it.
let's also talk about the use of the management's name to exercise authority, what was the thought process? but anyway
it's also funny how some people think the solution is just to pay the amount of money people are concerned about "to shut them up" because apparently the amount is "small anyway" and "para wala nang gulo." but that doesn't answer people's doubts at all. it just reeks of elitism. using money to silence complaints instead of properly addressing them. every time someone complains, are you all just going to throw money at the issue?
and also, kinda shocked y'all are THAT invested in fanwars to the point that you care more about what they think. this matter is already within our fandom and they have nothing to do with it. they hold no value in this fandom for us to keep giving them attention or seeking validation from them.
you've all been asking since yesterday, "how are we supposed to attract people if this is how we act towards___?" but is this kind of messy system even inviting in the first place?
bini is getting bigger, so hopefully the fanbases grow and improve too.
i know this is voluntary work. there's no salary involved. but once you build an organization, responsibility comes with it.
the solution is actually simple.
tell the truth.
