Memphis made me. Love my city.

Quite frankly, Memphis feels like an athletic program that is struggling to come to grips with what it takes in 2026. Staying flat or barely increasing roster value YoY is going to ensure you get left behind.

Since the start of the 21-22 season the Memphis Grizzlies have played 387 games: Ja Morant has only appeared in 214 of them (55%) Since the start of the 21-22 season the Memphis Grizzlies have played 18,656 minutes: Ja Morant has only been on the court for 6,791 of them (36%)

i hope whatever organization lands ja values him and does right by him. ja wasn’t always perfect but he was human and he is a memphian to us. the man got this logo tattooed on his back and you can’t even let him give a fan a jersey? never backed him publicly? traded his homies?

We weren’t winning a chip with the current core unless God himself stepped in to prevent injuries It’s the way of the NBA. Bane’s contract was too high and locked us down due to the new CBA, and once he was gone the duo of Ja&Jaren wasn’t enough to get over the hump.

During the Grizzles last home game every player gave their jersey to a fan as a gesture of gratitude, except for Ja Morant Morant was notified just one hour before tip-off that he would not be participating in the giveaway, leaving him without a jersey to provide (Via @ScoopB)

zach kleiman and the front office are making it really hard to support this team. the city had a team that they latched to, loved, and related to. it felt like the team was FROM the city how much they all clicked… but now it feels like every report, transaction, and decision being made is getting worse. this is almost as frustrating as it is embarrassing to witness as a fan. i’ve never seen this many vocal complaints, season ticket cancellations, voices of people NOT watching games, and outward frustration. this team has been awful before but the city still rode behind them… this is different
