@theegymmdiaryy not as familiar with the women’s gyms around here, obv slgc is the only men’s program and they’re good. I would’ve considered it if they had a team when I was in high school bc of the academics though I was mostly looking at top engineering schools (michigan, stanford, cal, uiuc)

@colinstenger WashU would be such a flex, I know the St. Louis area gyms produce pretty decent talent that would thrive at D3

the program at mcmurry is a huge pickup, there are plenty of texas/R3 gymnasts who would love to compete close to home. if usagym continues to pursue d3 schools, they should pick up an elite academic school: mit, caltech, washu, emory, etc as many gymnasts pursue high academia
