A Bond of Unity: Pakistani Expatriates Stand with UAE 🇦🇪🇵🇰
I was honoured to attend the solidarity gathering of Pakistani expatriates in Dubai as Chief Guest, under the 'One Nation, One Family' campaign. The event was a powerful display of the strong ties between Pakistan and the UAE, built on mutual respect, tolerance, and shared values.🤝
The Pakistani community in the UAE has pledged unwavering support to the country's leadership, offering to volunteer their services and stand ready in any capacity as regional tensions persist. The event drew a large turnout of community leaders, business figures, and individuals, all expressing firm backing for the UAE's stability and leadership.
The UAE has been a home to many, providing opportunities for growth and prosperity . It's heartening to see the community come together to reaffirm their commitment to the nation. As I said at the event, the UAE considers all communities part of one family, and remains committed to safeguarding lives and property.

إعادة #باكستان للودائع الإماراتية ليست أزمة وإنما التزام يُنفّذ وفق اتفاقيات واضحة.
ما يحدث إجراء مالي طبيعي، وأي محاولة لتصويره كخلاف أو توتر… تضليل مكشوف.
الإمارات لا تُقرض بحثاً عن نفوذ… وإنما تدعم استقرار شركائها، وعندما يحين وقت الاستحقاق… تُعاد الأموال وفق الأصول.
العلاقة بين الإمارات وباكستان ليست خبراً عابراً، بل شراكة ممتدة، صنعها زايد، وترسخت بالثقة.

Pakistan rejects misleading comments regarding UAE financial deposits and affirms the strength of its partnership with the UAE. 🇵🇰🇦🇪
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan 🇵🇰
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly rejects the recent misleading and baseless comments regarding the financial deposits provided by the United Arab Emirates and held with the State Bank of Pakistan.
These deposits were placed under bilateral commercial agreements, reflecting the UAE’s strong support for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan’s economy. Accordingly, and in line with the agreed terms between both sides, the Government of Pakistan is currently, through the State Bank of Pakistan, repaying the deposits that have matured to the UAE. This is a routine financial process, and any attempt to portray it otherwise is incorrect and misleading.
Pakistan and the UAE share a long-standing fraternal relationship based on trust and strategic cooperation in trade, investment, and defense, as well as strong people-to-people ties.
This relationship has stood the test of time and has grown stronger year after year. The people of Pakistan hold deep appreciation for the pivotal role played by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in strengthening this enduring friendship, as well as for his special affection toward Pakistan.
Pakistan reaffirms its full commitment to further strengthening this solid relationship for a shared and prosperous future.
