@LordLucasCD @horton_official You can’t find it because it doesn’t happen. Most of the hare deaths are caused by hare coursing with dogs.

Put up 22 #starling nest boxes on the #SelborneLandscapePartnership #farmercluster with the help of one of their most dedicated volunteers and my current #placement student, today. Fingers crossed, some will be occupied next spring. Starlings are a red-listed #farmlandbird.

@norfolkbirdtour Last winter will live long in the memory for farmers across the country. Better to get the following crop in straight away rather than wait in case it rains and never stops.... not good for the geese but neither is farmers stopping growing sugar beet if following crop fails.
