When @collinbaumgart1 was a senior @BirdsPiasa, I asked him if he'd been contacted by any MLB scouts. His response was something like (paraphrasing here), "WHAT!? LOLz NO!" ... So pumped to see such a great dude and pitcher get there. Nobody deserves it more.

.@collinbaumgart1 told me if he didn't have the chance to play pro baseball, his win against Texas in the Big 12 Tourney would've been a pretty great way to end his career. Well, it's not the end! I talked with @KUBaseball's Friday night starter after he signed with the Rockies:
