Another Bike Shed scandal! This time it’s costing you €100,000!
The Taoiseach smirks and laughs when I challenged him about wasting millions of taxpayers’ money. Money that could have been used to help hardpressed household with rip-off bills.
Micheál Martin’s smart alec response - “Pearse Doherty should go away and design a bike shed for us.”
Talk about out of touch!

Today, I wrote to the Chair of the Oireachtas Committee on Education to request an urgent meeting with Mins McEntee (Ed) & Chambers (DPENDR) so they can answer questions on the ongoing school secretaries & caretakers #PensionParity dispute.
Time is of the essence here.

This inexplicable decision should be immediately reviewed by Minister O’Callaghan. Children travelling from Palestine to participate in GAA activities on short term visas deserve more than bureaucratic refusals as do those clubs that awaited their arrival. jrnl.ie/6757964

🇮🇪Today, Sinn Féin brings a motion to the Dáil to save the GPO – and stop Fianna Fáil & Fine Gael’s shameful plan to hand it over to corporations for shops and offices.
The GPO is imprinted with the sacrifices of courageous Irish men and women who fought the British empire for freedom. The government’s plan is a shameful betrayal of our rebel history.
Seas linn – cosain Ard-Oifig an Phoist.
The fight to save the GPO is on!
