@Vivers51 I am sure that you have been told in the messages of sympathy and support that the question of what next is not for today or tomorrow. It is a question that can wait because grief is not quick and change is too much for now. Much love to you today

@billykayscot We have great service from our Miele which has given no trouble u like the Dyson which is the great curse of the place where I work. Get a second battery for the Miele and go for the recent models. Entirely EU made

@hodgetwins @EricS_WPS Where is your evidence that confirms the US is funding taliban operations such as you’ve mentioned?
English

Our tax dollars are legit funding this

Yesterday the Taliban passed a law banning women from: - speaking in public - showing ANY skin - looking at men they aren't related to Where is the outrage? No protests on college campuses. No statement from the White House. & guess who's funding this? We are.

@KirstieMAllsopp @14MilesToFrance Admittedly it was 1976 but that was the first year I travelled alone to Liverpool on a ferry. I walked to school without parent from the age of 6. This was inner city Dublin.

@14MilesToFrance Oh lucky you, I would have had 10 if I could. Enjoy every moment, each stage is different, each joyful in their own way.

@Holdmypint @DrUmarAlQadri So you’ve never heard someone launch a rude attack and when you object they say it was just a joke.
English

@DrUmarAlQadri Unfortunately we were told by settlers our culture must change. That we should not be warm or friendly. That smiles are privilege.

Foreigner living in Ireland complains about Irish culture. She finds Irish jokes offensive and says Irish humor “needs to change within the Irish community.” This is multiculturalism. They want you to change to suit them.

🇮🇪 Sharing a bit of personal observation and reflection today. I've noticed something truly special about the Irish culture that I feel compelled to share. ☘️
Walking through parks here, I've been consistently struck by the warmth and friendliness of Irish people. Unlike anywhere else, there's a genuine openness and willingness to connect with strangers. It's a simple gesture, but the smiles and greetings make each morning stroll feel like a community affair.
One particular aspect of Irish life that stands out is the courtesy on the roads. Drivers stopping for pedestrians and offering way when signalled - it's a level of consideration that's sadly rare elsewhere. This culture of kindness is woven into everyday interactions, creating a sense of safety and mutual respect on the streets.
But as with any evolving society, I've noticed a slight shift over the years. While the warmth still shines brightly in towns like Tipperary and Clonakilty, Dublin seems to be experiencing a bit of a change. Yet, the essence of Irish friendliness remains, offering a glimpse into the heart of this remarkable country. 💚🍀
In a world often marked by hustle and bustle, Ireland's genuine warmth stands out as a beacon of human connection. It's a reminder that amidst our differences, kindness knows no bounds. Here's to cherishing and preserving the Irish spirit of friendliness for generations to come. #IrishFriendliness #CultureReflections #Ireland #céadmílefáilte

@DrUmarAlQadri @CorkTruckDriver No name and no photograph is something that I wouldn’t worry about. This platform less and less used shouldn’t call faceless and nameless remarks. We do not live in a dictatorship.
English

@CorkTruckDriver Tell me you never interacted with a Muslim without telling me…

@DrUmarAlQadri It is a fine reminder of how much better we feel when greeted with warmth or a gesture that is friendly. Random acts of kindness cost nothing and yet can transform the day of any person. Thank you for taking a moment to share that experience.

@Lucy_Worsley Lucy is the ideal candidate for most wanted dinner party guest. I love the slight irreverence

Kudos to Sheron at #Heathrow check-in! Even after starting her shift at 4:30 am, her service was nothing short of excellent and went out of her way to accommodate us. Thank you, Sheron, for making our travel experience so pleasant! @AerLingus
