@arbeemonkey I was using Ableton Live. Excellent DAW of course, but I think I’m liking Logic better… let’s see hahaha

@redmaticmusic @steezyprime I don’t see a problem in them boosting more their playlist. Specially the lofi sleep, they’ve been doing that for a year now. The problem now is that they shadow banned the big labels main playlists in the algorithm, so almost no one is finding them in the searchbar anymore

@steezyprime Yeah I agree with you. It’s stupid but like big businesses are dumb and want control so it also wouldn’t shock me if YouTube did something like that. Also it’s a little different because of how content is consumed of yt vs Spotify. But yeah it’s scummy

@thebootlegboy they will appear as songs, but not “releases” because technically is a release from “various artists”, and not from the specific artist. As you can only pitch releases (and then you choose a song from it), you can’t pitch it. But the artists can still check the stats of the songs

I'm dumb pls help. If i upload a compilation to Spotify, listed as 'various artists' will it show up on individual artists 'Spotify for Artists' or nah? I know they can't be pitched for some reason
