@VeganTrailRunr You will have different form on a treadmill, usually less efficient as the belt is moving away & harder to push away, this means you have to pull your leg more from the hips. Then even slight overstride. If contact sounds heavier then this maybe the case.

Why is my HR higher at 5mph on a treadmill than it is at 5½ mph when running outside?

@VeganTrailRunr Maybe try with a heel raise in the zero drop, prop it up with anything to give it a go.

No run today as I have a sore Achilles insertion. It's the same as when I had surgery for Haglunds Deformity. I'm wondering if zero drop shoes are actually not best for me. I think I might need a higher drop with a soft heel cup. Not really got the money to find out.
