I thought about how Mecha Vallak from EDF 2017 has one of my favorite boss intros. Only the walk-on is cinematic. Then they spawn you like a mile away and you get to see it do an atomic breath style laser sweep across the skyline. EDF excels at scale, which is naturally cinematic
