Hello everyone. Ever since the Spider-Sai comic began, one frequent question has been if Black Cat will make an appearance in the story. And the question is relevant now more than ever now that she's officially in Marvel Rivals. Unfortunately, she will not. I want to add variety in my arcs, and love rivalries is not a story bit I'd want to keep relying on. Emma will be Sai's only love rival in the series. I may consider introducing her via flashbacks, filler comic, or maybe fun little non-canon scenarios like the skin reactions, but not as a major player. I may also consider introducing her Fortnite counterpart in Spider-Harem if anyone is interested in that. Lastly, I already have the next major story arc planned out. Without spoiling too much, it has nothing to do with romance, and is centered exclusively around the existing cast, and one new major villain. So Black Cat doesn't really have a place in it, not even as a non-romantic supporting character. I'm very sorry for those hoping for Felicia to make a big appearance in the series, but I want to keep the cast streamlined, and the arcs varied. I do have some ideas on how I can make use of her, though. Sai and Emma being resentful towards her in non-canon comics could be a lot of fun, but no promises.
