She got a call about a voter who was turned away for not bringing in the absentee ballot she had received, but not sent in, when choosing to instead vote in person. (cont.)

Without proof of residency, many people in recovery and residential reentry programs are often turned away from the polls (as these folks had been in 2 previous elections). But Common Ground got that proof and got them to the polls. #gotv #thisiswhatdemocracylookslike
