At just 19, Sidney Chahonyo’s life was turned upside down by a cancer diagnosis – followed by delays in diagnosis, uncertainty and the high cost of treatment. 🇦🇬 As Antigua and Barbuda headed to the polls, Commonwealth observers were on the ground early. Chair Dr Pelonomi Venson watched as queues formed and officials prepared to open voting at 6 a.m, marking the start of the Group’s election‑day observing. 49 out of 56 Commonwealth countries have marine coastlines. We're supporting them to raise capital for projects that protect and sustainably use marine resources. This week we launched the Commonwealth Blue Bond Readiness Programme with the Blue Bond Accelerator, ORRAA and partners.
