If someone recommends you for something, they put their integrity and sometimes their relationship with that person or organisation on the line. It is important that you deliver.

I think Senegal 🇸🇳 are doing too much. Why showcasing the AFCON trophy 🏆 in France 🇫🇷 in the midst of a legal battle?

A Nigerian player earns 5k euros monthly in Ethiopia. He was earning around 7k euros monthly in Tanzania. Both are non footballing nations . Nigeria, are you sure you are a footballing nation?

Manufactured stories like the Iwobi burglary, and now the Uyo stadium donation are reasons why everyone on social media should be careful about believing, re-sharing and engaging content from random accounts. If by now, people don’t know that a lot of these accounts are just trying to farm engagements in order to be paid, then there is little anyone can do. Unfortunately, bad news that paints officialdom in poor light sells better because that is what a lot of people want to see. But always ask yourself first, how reliable is the source of this story? What is their antecedent? Is it corroborated by any authoritative account? Unfortunately, one cannot trust even our legacy media to do their jobs properly as the likes of Punch, Guardian, Vanguard, ThisDay, etc who should be gatekeepers of fact and truth, fall into the clickbait trap and usually recirculate misinformation without any fact-checking or verification. As media, we have to do a better job of verifying information before posting/publishing. And as readers, we also have to stop falling or clickbait. The more these charlatans get engagement from these false information, the more they will continue to do it
