Yesterday: residents displaced by the 27th fireworks explosion demanded the LAPD officers involved be fired. 17+ people were injured, 2 died, & 20+ houses were destroyed. Fire Damien Levesque, Mell Hogg, Mark Richardson, Brendan McCarty, Thomas Deluccia & Stefanie Alcocer!

SB 14 is the wrong policy approach. Trafficking is already a crime that is punishable by as much as 15 years to life. Human trafficking victims & survivors are currently criminalized & prosecuted under proposals like this one. @retrograde I've been following this since day one and I'm sickened by the whole damn thing! The marine was taken into custody by the MPs and then let go the next day. Supposedly there are several organizations involved but I'm not seeing any real investigation and that is NOT right!!
