It's crazy how Laura Stacey broke both of her wrists in her final college game and still managed to make the national team a year later, despite having been cut for years before. Her resilience is truly inspiring 💜

Brett Howden is probably the reason they were acquitted. He was a key witness, and his testimony in court contradicted his previous statements to police. Protected his boys, cried over himself. When the judge ruled his texts inadmissible, the case more or less fell apart.

i was today years old when i learned that there's another hockey player in golden knights who was involved in that hockey canada five trial for sexual assault. his name is brett howden.
