This time 11 years ago I was fighting for my life in @LeedsHospitals what a journey it has been, from raising money for various charities and meeting @KensingtonRoyal along my incredible journey, never ever give up , always look for hope no matter how small ❤️

Brain injury never ends recently I've been experiencing more headaches, my speech is getting worse and I'm forgetting more, drs next week but staying positive as always 💪

So true, when you turn 18 support ends, from physio to counciling, Drs disappear, advice disappears your safety net goes, but your brain injury doesn't, help raise awareness of brain injury and help support brain injury awareness

A little update on Lewis following his stroke on 25th Feb … he looks fine but is constantly exhausted and the speech issue is the worry jumbling and mixing words up the stroke nurse was pleased with progress.. long road ahead though. He’s being watched like a hawk, by me! 😊❤️

On Wednesday my 24 year old son Lewis had an ischemic stroke he’s recovering at home now and has started the long road to recovery. In shock and disbelief that this has happened but he will get better and things won’t look quite so bleak soon .. for now family first ❤️

@EstherRigby I was 14 when I had my stroke and it takes time for everyone to come to terms with but I'm sure you will all get through this, take each day as it comes and stay strong 💪 @TheStrokeAssoc and @HeadwayUK are fantastic and I'm always happy to give advice if needed x
