In reality you’re not ruining someone’s day, while annoying it’s incredibly easy to get back whatever loadout/gear you lost in this game just by playing solo

@JoeMama32575872 @ArturJedger @ThatARCGuy For real I usually just hang around and look for flares to fight rats but my lobbies are too chill. I’m not one to ruin someone’s day for no reason but feel the game needs PVP events high risk high reward that doesn’t affect regular matchmaking.

@conaway_ronald @ArturJedger @ThatARCGuy Exactly this lol, I play solo to get my quests done/build my benches back up, once you have all that done the game just turns into a managing your stash simulator since you don’t have any real threats. Then duos/trios to actually enjoy some PVP

I’m honestly at the point where I do not care what happens with AJ Brown. Yes i want him back but at this point it has gone on far too long. Unclear intentions, rumors, online drama and has just been total overkill. I think a lot of the fans just want this drama to be over, im pretty numb to the whole situation as a whole. It’s gotten quite ridiculous at this point

@ThatARCGuy I’ve been here since the beginning, I did the first expedition, I intentionally skipped the second one but I did the third. I was disgusted when I saw that I had lost some buffs. Today I’m frustrated that I skipped one expedition, we’ll see what Embark Studios is going to propose

This was meant as a reminder for those on the fence or interested in doing the Expedition. What's blatantly clear is that the process and outcomes are still confusing to a lot of people. The negative replies are aplenty.
You still maintain your permanent rewards like stash space and skill points... I thought that was obvious. You simply lose your temporary buffs - temporary because if you don't complete the expedition, you lose them.
I don't think that's unreasonable for the most part and it's certainly not news - Embark has been transparent about it in their communication both in-game and out, but maybe not enough or not clear enough.
If you grind for the stash space and points, it's worth it. If you grind for the buffs that make playing the game easier each time, in theory, it's worth it. If you think the game is now dead because I posted information that isn't new, you're wrong. The game not being "good" anymore or worth your time is a personal observation/preference. Enjoy or don't - loud or not - you don't speak for the core audience.

Under the current rules of the ARC Raiders Expedition, all of your game buffs achieved through previous Expeditions will reset IF you choose not to partake in the next one. Things may change, as many have, but I wanted to give people ample time to put the pedal to the metal in case they were on the fence about it - should the buff reset carry over. In my opinion, there should be a penalty, but not a full loss of benefits. For example, maybe you lose 50% of the buffs you gained by not completing an Expedition. And if you successfully complete a future one, you regain those lost benefits back. A reward for your continued efforts be it consistent or inconsistent. What do you think?
