this is not a bad advice but very badly worded. instead it should say: - using neutral color canvas will help you see your shadows and lights better - black lines overpower and dull other colors - smooth two color gradients look tacky and unnatural, create custom and less regular ones - set dodge and burn to no more than 2% if using it - use multiply with appropriate shades, not just gray - using white before other light colors will cut your options (there is nothing brighter than white, so leave it until you have no other choice!) hope this helps ✨
