I genuinely don’t understand racism in Britain. Walked through a hospital ward last night (11pm) and every single nurse and doctor I saw was from an ethnic minority, mainly black or Asian. Send us back to our country and who exactly will be looking after your elderly relatives? The NHS relies upon us so heavily yet we’re the most underpaid and undervalued.

When Africa becomes prosperous, racism against Black people everywhere will drop dramatically. That's not wishful thinking, you can actually watch this pattern play out in history. The Japanese were heavily discriminated against in America until Japan became an economic power.  Then suddenly Japanese culture was cool, Japanese products were premium, and the hostility faded. The same happened with South Korea. Prosperity rewrites how the world sees your people.  Nothing else even comes close.

@heavensbvnny The problem with this is that the thing that you wanna do with a person depends on the person him/herself ;-)

There should be a dating app, where you pick the date itself and not the person… and then they show you all the people who wanna do that thing and you just check off the ones you like from there and agree on availability…

@magnushambleton That's not surprising. In Sweden, currently, the medical system cares about you only in the following 2 cases: 1) When you're born 2) When you're on your deathbed Wish your kid a long and healthy life between these 2 endpoints :-)

My fiancee gave birth in a Swedish hospital 16 days ago. We had 2 doctors, 2 obgyns and 2 nurses in the room at the end and stayed for 3 days in total getting round the clock care from incredible people. It cost us $40 in total for her, the bill just arrived.

@RichardDawkins The pros are purely scientific. We could study their anatomy, behaviour, and so on. The cons are that they would all emigrate to Europe :-)

Neanderthal genome is largely known. If it becomes possible to reconstruct a live Neanderthal person, what, in your opinion, would be the pros and cons? I’m genuinely interested in canvassing opinions for and against.
