If a school purchases a physical copy of a book, is it permissible to scan pages and display them on a classroom whiteboard for teaching purposes? @AndyNelson1977 @jillberry102 In the moment? Needs escalating further. DSL not always the Head so can go up, through Trust, governors etc. if concerned safeguarding policy not being followed.

@jillberry102 Absolutely - it's that dichotomy of most people in the profession coming into it to develop/work with students and as you move higher into leadership it's what you spend less of your time doing!

@connoracton Yes! It's what leadership (at all levels in in all areas) is all about for me - build the confidence & capacity of those you lead, just as we have been building the confidence & capacity of students since our first day in the classroom. Hope you're having a good weekend, Connor.
