I said this yesterday before a QB change was finalized but now that it's official, I think the $$ becomes kind of irrelevant here for the Dolphins. Not sure how you bring him back on the roster in 2026 now that you've benched him for a rookie.

Roster and it isn’t most likely the 53 million dollar one I wouldn’t put my eggs into a basket were in 2026 we won’t see Tua in a QB competition with someone they bring in maybe a veteran like a Justin Fields

A 7th round rookie that showed no real life in preseason. I think this is the right decision just in case maybe Ewers is the truth to see him this three games and maybe light a fire under Tua. But if we’re gonna sit here and act like if there is a future high level QB on this…

Tua has not been good at all. That being said which is more likely an option to become a high level quarterback in the NFL A. Rehabilitating a QB your forced to pay $53 million to next season regardless of cutting him or not that has proven a ability to play at the high level B..
