🚨EXC: Trump considering pulling US from Nato In my second interview with the president, Mr Trump said removing America from the alliance was now ‘beyond reconsideration’. Singling out the UK, the US president rebuked Sir Keir Starmer for refusing to get involved in the American-Israeli war against Iran, suggesting Britain's navy was not up to the task. “You don’t even have a navy. @connorstringer @Telegraph LOLs … the rights of US companies that operate in the UK is governed by the laws of the UK not eg the first amendment of the US constitution, which only impacts interactions with the US government. No wonder Jordan never passed the bar exam.

🚨EXC: US Congress has warned Lisa Nandy that plans to force social media platforms to prioritise the BBC and other public-service broadcasters threaten free speech. The Government is considering requiring Meta, Google and YouTube to give greater prominence to content from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 as part of its crackdown on misinformation. But @Jim_Jordan , the Republican chairman of the @JudiciaryGOP , warned the proposals would “serve as a major threat” to online expression and “infringe on the rights of American companies and their users”.

Construction has begun on the Falkland Islands' first oilfield - Sea Lion. Over 300 million barrels of certified recoverable resources will be tapped in to in less than two years' time. By the 2030s, the Falklands could be generating more income from oil and gas than Britain. Peak tax revenue would be worth £80,000 a year for every individual man woman and child resident on the islands.

Is Trump laying the groundwork to push through voting reform without Congressional approval? The declassified intelligence could give Trump the predicate he needs to declare a national emergency over “voter fraud” before the midterms. If Congress refuses to pass the SAVE Act — mandating proof of US citizenship, voter ID and restrictions on mail-in ballots — an executive order could become the workaround.

The most likely reason for this is that the “new” ex-Qatari jet doesn’t have the self-defense capabilities needed when flying from Turkey while in a shooting war with Iran. The actual VC-25 aircraft does have those capabilities.

🚨NEW: Donald Trump has revived plans to buy Greenland. Multiple sources told @Telegraph that a deal to purchase the territory is now the US President’s preferred option to end a long-running dispute with Denmark. Secret talks to come up with a solution to control the island, including having more US bases had made progress. But the president believes the best way to ensure Artic secure is to have Greenland in total US control. Previous estimates have suggested that it would cost America around $700 billion to acquire.  Copenhagen, which has sovereignty over Greenland, has repeatedly insisted that the territory is not for sale.  W/@Barnes_Joe and @Tony_Diver
