Great data viz by @Prancke! The red area has a particularly interesting story. It's caused by the combination of an improved sensor network (that makes it easier to detect small earthquakes) and a big decrease in gas extraction in recent years.

#STEW2023 was almost a year in the making but the hard work definitely paid off 👏 We received a lot of positive feedback and were really happy with the range and quality of the talks, huge thanks to all that participated! Over and out from the organising committee *mic drop*🎤

We also ran an industry session where we heard about the application of EVA at JBA, EDF and Shell (@RPTowe). We had such a wide variety of contributed talks throughout the workshop. Thank you again to all of our amazing speakers and everyone else who attended #STEW2023!

Day 2 and 3 of #STEW2023 were really exciting! We had keynote presentations from Dr. Miguel de Carvalho (@mbcarvalho), and @STORiCDT alumni Dr. Emma Simpson and Dr. Christian Rohrbeck.
