The new strategy reflects on LCA’s institutional growth between 2019 and 2024 and sets out a renewed Vision, Mission, and Strategic Goals to guide the Association over the next five years.

A major highlight of the day was the overview and official launch of LCA’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan.

We also conducted the LCA Perception Survey to gather feedback directly from members. The survey is designed to capture members’ perspectives and insights, enabling the Association to continuously learn, adapt, and improve its service delivery and support to member conservancies.

Members received detailed program presentations highlighting progress and achievements in 2025, alongside the 2026 Workplan and Budget outlining key priorities for the year ahead.

We brought together our member conservancies, partners, and County Government of Laikipia to strengthen collaboration across the Laikipia landscape. The Annual Members Day provided a platform to share landscape updates from the past year, enhancing coordination and planning.

It requires stronger policy integration, coordinated institutional frameworks, community participation, continuous capacity building, and sustainable financing mechanisms to ensure that conservation data meaningfully informs landscape management and governance.
