🌿As the first conversations begin at this year's #VillarsSummit, ideas are already taking shape — Alex Dehgan of @conservationx, highlights how technology can help prevent ecosystems from degrading into grasslands, and support more resilient, scalable conservation approaches.

First up: @_COCO_Inc partnered with Skeena Watershed to field-test a new approach to hazardous fuels: rapid, targeted degradation of waste biomass using fungi, moving that material out of the fuel/fire cycle and into the soil cycle, helping keep carbon stored rather than released
