Folks blaming the DBs didn’t watch. No pass rush = big plays and late comebacks. When KVN is your best rusher that’s the real problem. Crosby + Madubuike and minter aggressive play calling changes everything.

After the Browns informed DC Jim Schwartz this morning they were passing him over to hire Todd Monken as head coach, Schwartz was visibly upset, said goodbyes in the building and told other coaches he’s not coming back, sources tell The Insiders. Schwartz is under contract and Cleveland wants to retain him. But his future is now unclear.

@arsnl_con @TreyW58897 @baltibirds20 he was captain and leader at Georgia but go off Leadership isn’t only charisma, its multiple things. Ray and Ed are once in a generation examples using them as the baseline isn’t realistic. only time will tell ill come back to this during the season.

@consistxtcy @TreyW58897 @baltibirds20 if you are drafting someone for intangibles, the entire reason is that it isn't something skill based that needs to be grown. Ray and Ed and even Ro (even tho i hate him) were drafted as leaders. Starks came with none of that and is the definition of a 6/10 player, Watts was it

One thing I hope Jesse Minter can do is to find a way to elevate the play of Malaki Starks. Seahawks’ 2nd round pick, safety Nick Emmanwori has had a far superior rookie season. It’s not even close. Different styles but Emmanwori is vastly more impactful!

@consistxtcy @TreyW58897 @baltibirds20 they drafted Starks cause of "intangibles" that don't show up on the field. he's not a leader of men which means they like that he's docile, the Harbaugh way. it was stupid to draft a squad piece on a defense needing turnovers in key situations instead of the literal ballhawk
