Turning a floor plan into a working Revit model is one of the most tedious parts of early-stage design. You're squinting at a PDFs, tracing wall after wall, placing every door and window, just to recreate what's already on the page. So I built Image2Revit at @DraftedAI . Upload a floor plan, get a Revit model with: → True-to-scale wall thicknesses → Doors with matching swing and family → Windows with real dimensions → Auto-alignment over the original plan → Fully complete, editable geometry Hours of tracing, done in seconds. Demo below ↓

hot take: unrestricted LLMs are as dangerous as weapons of mass destruction you can literally reprogram the minds of billions of humans (we already saw glimpses of this with the OpenAI sycophancy saga)

Current models are not polymaths by default. Upon instantiation, most frontier models tend to rabbit hole and hyperfocus. Being able to proactively encourage models to make connections across fields leads to unimaginable alpha. As always, the future belongs to the generalist.

The permitting process for home building is still painfully manual. For subdivision planning, builders and developers test housing footprints against lots one-by-one - manually rotating plans, checking setbacks and frontage constraints, and making sure garages and driveways actually work with the road layout. So I built a Revit tool at @DraftedAI that automatically: → matches viable footprints to lots → validates setbacks and frontage constraints → aligns garage and driveway orientation → generates lot/plan views ready for permitting Generating PDFs for an entire development used to take a couple of days. With this tool, ~30 minutes.

@JoshDaws there are hundreds of AI slop videos that look exactly like this on this platform every day. it's very obviously not hard to do. the people hating on this are not stupid enough to give an AI company money for the tokens to generate this and are too busy creating their own art.

@geteviapp baller. It took me a while to understand what a derivative of a sigmoid is, I'm still not sure I quite get it

@const_ In early days of deep learning I’d be going into labs and implement XOR (not and :) in their NN framework :)

this is such a short-sighted "i'm 12 and actually so smart take" it's great that you were given 130+ IQ and have 300 years of experience but most people don't and they are already worse than current AI at basically every cognitive task and one day in the not too distant future you will be too as Ilya said in 2023: "if you value intelligence above all other human qualities, you’re gonna have a bad time."

If Anthropic was a cult, and I’m not saying they are. They should declare all datacenters as sacred places. And then sue for religious discrimination when local cities try to cancel datacenter construction
