Refused proposal for 568 homes on a former gasometers in the London Borough of Kingston against the advice of planning officers, has been called in by the Mayor of London.   This will now be determined by public hearing, by the deputy of Mayor for planning. The sixth called in scheme awaiting determination.

🏠 Plans for 463 “gentle density” homes on a a brownfield site in Barnet, have been called in by the Mayor of London.   ❌ This follows an resolution to refuse planning permission by Barnet Council on the 16th March.   3️⃣ This alongside two other previous call in schemes in the borough, now means that 60% of the called in schemes awaiting determination via public hearing by the Deputy for London for planning are in the north London. Plans for 676 rental flats in East Croydon was approved by committee last night.   Site was sold as part of the councils initial fire-sale of assets for just £20 million, following the collapse of council developer Brick by Brick which previously had permission for 400 flats.
