Content creators—do you prefer editing on your iPhone or computer?! Sometimes I feel like I am much faster on my phone but it hurts my neck tbh 🤣

@contentwithkate I feel your pain! I travel with my husband often and he works some of the time. When he is working I don’t feel bad about content creating!

Constantly torn between getting travel content for my portfolio while on vacation and actually JUST enjoying my vacation. Any other creators feel me? I typically go the enjoying route tbh. I love the thought of it but then when I’m there I just want to relax 🏝️✈️🌸☕️

@contentwithkate I totally feel this! I didn’t get nearly as much content as I wanted on our last vacation, even though I went into it, knowing I wanted to film everything. I was honestly just enjoying the moment!

@contentwithkate 110% feel you on this ! I love taking photos on vacay, but I fall short when it comes to content. I’ve been planning on jotting a few ideas down before I go on my next trip (to Florida), writing shot lists etc so I can actually commit to creating specific pieces for the portfolio

TOMORROW!!! I leave for the Dominican & will be working by the beach for TWO months (yes my family thinks I am crazy) ☀️🌴 but this is a dream come true & I want to talk about some things I have set up in my business that has made this possible: 1. I have multiple unofficial retainer deals. Meaning I have brands that I know will need content from me so I am taking those products with me! 2. I have commission based income. I will be creating with 4 products while down there & earning commission on those videos. 3. I have shifted my niche to be more focused on #techugc for this time period so most of my inbounds will be for SaaS products. 4. I have a video-editing position as well that brings me monthly income. even though UGC is a "remote job" you still are tied to a location when needing to receive products but setting these things up have made it possible to leave for 2 months and still be making money!

ended my contract with the agency i started with at the very beginning of my ugc journey and it’s SO bittersweet it was my intro into the marketing space as an employee, started as a social media coordinator → social strategist → editor i did everything i could to make it work without adding friction. even shifted roles from strategist to editor to make it smoother, but in this phase of my life and business, it just wasn’t aligned anymore i’m a CHRONIC people pleaser and i hate feeling like i’m inconveniencing someone (like i'd rather jump off a cliff) but my mentor (shouts out @mehrrajputUGC ily) has really drilled into me that i’m ALLOWED to say no. i’m ALLOWED to outgrow things. and i’m ALLOWED to prioritize the business i’m building sometimes growth isn’t adding more, it’s having the clarity (and courage!!!) to let go #UGC #ugccreator #UGCcreators #ugccommunity

In talks to become a creative strategist 😱 I never believed in myself - I was my own nemesis. But doing UGC + running my own business shifted my mindset to "You're fucking great at what you do" I'm more confident in my skills, but more importantly, in me 💖 #ugccreator

The first 2 weeks of February were so slow, honestly I only had one UGC deal finalized from Jan😅 3rd week...I’m now fully booked and trending toward my highest earning month yet! Proof that things can turn around fast in the #UGC world, but consistency is KEY💪 #UGCcreator
