On my way to Paris with a lot of nerds! Not sure I've ever been on a Eurostar with this many people I know before.

If you'd like to see the full route - we did over 480 miles across the two days per the below! 17 buses and a ferry all the way from York to Cork. ^TOO

We made it to Cork last night, went to the hostel and forgot to tweet this last night, but we did make it entirely by bus (and a ferry)! ^DAX

Cork approaches! And we're looking out across the river as we slowly roll in. ^TOO

Last bus of the day - the 40 onwards to Cork! We're running westwards through the darkness - finish line in under half an hour ^TOO

In Ireland, the rules are slightly different... and the 40 Expressway from Rosslare to Waterford is stopping every few miles in small towns and has onboard ticket purchase so this is totally Bus #5 for today, bus #14 of the plan! Also, hello from Waterford! ^TOO

Welcome to Rosslare! Our first bus on the Irish side - bus #4 of today or #13 of the trip to take us off the ferry. Shame it's almost an hour after arrival...

A change using the pulse transfer in Dolgellau (several different buses line up to allow common interchange here) puts us onto bus #9 and our final bus of the day to Aberystwyth! Too bad it's an E200... ^TOO

Not impressed at all by the screens at Wolverhampton, which don't mention the split at Shrewsbury on this @tfwrail service. It's only delivered as an announcement. Bit of an accessibility failure. ^ RAV
