I’m a little surprised at some folks bringing accusations against me, who might think it’s breaking news, when in fact, my book has been out with all the details since 2012, 14 years ago. In my book, Relentless Redemption, I told all the worst stuff about myself, so that no one could ever bring it up and claim that I tried to hide it. I laid my shame and brokenness at the foot of the cross, in great repentance, when it was all I had left. I was such a mess. I did not think I would recover. I know what it’s like to be engulfed in a shroud of shame, so intense that you do not know if you can ever rise from the ashes. I thought death would be better. All I could do was say I was sorry over and over again, not even able to believe that Jesus could truly forgive me. I knew I didn’t deserve it. I repented so profusely that I apologized to every single person involved. I apologized to every church member that I ran across during the following 10 years. My second marriage ended in a police incident, and thankfully, I found my way out. My husband now was never married and has been a gift from the Lord. And yes, I have even repented for remarrying. Divorce is not the unforgivable sin. But you have to repent. The reason I know what it’s like to be sorrowful, broken and repentant is because I lived it. The only reason these accusers know about my life is because I wrote it myself, in a book, because the miracle of God’s Redemption became my message. It was so miraculous that it was worth sharing for the rest of my life. I have now taken that message across the world on different continents and lead thousands of people to our only hope, the Cross and freedom from shame, because Jesus died so we could have it. It was not lost on me that God used a person, in the current situation, that was once so messed up, as Paul spoke, “some of you once were” …those things. I have removed the stye from my eye, and I could see very clearly the error that was in this situation. I followed God directly, even leaving my coveted position on Daystar, because I knew there was sin in the Daystar camp. To my accusers, I’m sorry you don’t understand the grace and the power of the Cross, but if you’re ever as imperfect as me, let me tell you that the Man on the cross says you are forgiven too. I receive that forgiveness everyday, so if you continue to accuse me of that which Jesus has forgiven me, you are now becoming the accuser of the brethren. So if you want to run around doing the devil‘s job, then let me just stay for the record that I have repented and Christ has regarded my helpless estate and it is well with my soul. God is my Defender, and I am cleansed because of the Cross of Jesus Christ. So take it up with Him.

If I never hear the term “generals of the faith” again, it will be too soon. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about who the real generals of the faith actually are. To me, they are the quiet, faithful praying grandmas. The young people who are completely sold out for Jesus and who still expect integrity from the Church. The “little people” walking in quiet obedience when no one is watching. It’s people like Jonathan Lamb @j_lamb , and others before him, who are willing to walk away from everything in order to remain obedient to God. You all have to understand there are always two sides and I feel sorry for all involved. I’m sure there is resentment on how Suzy and Jonathan went so public on their mother!! Just imagine the pain the girls feel about that toward their brother and I’m sure they feel Suzy lead the charge against their mother so that doesn’t help. Praying for restoration these things can tear a family apart. Jonathan God bless him will have a heavy road ahead because of the way things were left the final years. I just hurt for him what a tough lesson that we all can glean from. Jonathan may God heal your heart! Suzy I pray you are able to be Jonathan’s place of refuge ! Your mother loved you more than this world and I know he knows it but I’m sure it hurts so bad. Joni and Marcus built such a beautiful legacy in Daystar and I pray it can be sustained.

The Tragic Death of @DaystarJoni is being met with UNGODLY attacks from people who claim to be Pastors and yet are far from the Love of God! Not only were they a cause for great stress and harm for years and took advantage of a heart broken family for their own gain, but after JONI passes, they continue to tear the woman’s name down! @LauraLynnTT said Joni’s funeral made her want to vomit …. nice right? No humility, no empathy, not taking responsibility for the part she played in keeping this family broken apart. IMO they used a heartbroken young man and his wife and exploited a family rift, after the passing of Marcus. I’m so disappointed in at least of them, and just angry at the rest. King David was a man after God’s own heart … he lamented the Loss of King Saul who banished David… and wanted David dead. “After Saul spent years trying to kill him, David didn’t mock or celebrate when Saul finally died. Instead, he tore his clothes, wept, fasted, and wrote a heartfelt lament honoring both Saul and Jonathan. He called them ‘beloved and lovely’ and praised their strength in battle. That’s the kind of character that actually leads — no gloating, just grief and honor. Even your enemies deserve basic respect in death. The day of these shenanigans is over!

Instead of putting all this out, the church should have supported Johnathan better. It seems than no one had real world experiences.

All that other stuff was already out prior to Marcus passing. Perhaps Joni forgave him, but the trust was lost forever. What company would hire him now?

So many, many strangers have come to my page in the last three days to strongly declare that Julie Roys is bad news. They accuse her of gossip, of slander, of division, of witch hunts. I am not going to say she does her job perfectly. None of us do. What I will say is that she is METICULOUS with receipts. If she makes a claim, she's going to make darn sure to back it up with evidence, which is a helluva lot more than the people coming here to condemn her are able to do when asked why they dislike her so much. You know what else she does that these guys NEVER do? She repents when she gets things wrong. She owns her mistakes. She apologizes for them. She names her sin, and not in the slimy damage-control way we see in so many churches where the pastor only issues a half-ass vague apology so he can retain power. Women who rock the boat in the church are held to a much higher standard in the public eye than many of our pastors are. John MacArthur publicly excommunicated Eileen Gray in front of thousands of people and encouraged his congregation to treat her like an enemy when she refused to return to her criminally abusive sexual predator of a husband. He never apologized. Mark Driscoll can call women "penis homes" and use church funds to advance his book to the top of the New York Times bestseller list and be credibly accused by literally dozens of church members of pastoral abuse, and yet he's invited to be a keynote speaker at major Christian conferences. Doug Wilson can call women cunts and harpies and lumberjack dykes. He can say that American slavery wasn't bad. He can preach that women shouldn't vote. He can write softcore porn about sex robots. He can harbor numerous pedophiles in his church and shame their victims into silence and still be invited to lead prayer sessions at nationally important events. Greg Locke can abandon his marriage and marry his secretary. He can abuse his congregation and make bogus accusations about having proof that Joel Osteen is an actual pedophile, and he's still on the main circuit. Ravi Zacharias, Bill Hybels, Robert Morris, Tullian Tchividjian, Paige Patterson, Mile Bickle, and on and on and on ad nauseam. How long did it take for any of the truths about these guys to be known? And how would anyone know if people like Julie weren't tirelessly doing the work most of us neglect? It wouldn't. But if you'd rather pretend like the real problem is Julie Roys instead of a culture of whitewashing abuse, then at least have the courtesy to apply the same standard of care in reporting that she does: Bring the receipts. Show me where she reported something untrue about someone. And then tell me why you're more upset about her talking than you are about these leaders abusing their power. Apparently "nobody is perfect" applies to pastors who spiritually terrorize people, protect predators, exploit congregants, lie, bully, manipulate, and destroy lives. But let a woman raise her voice too loudly while exposing it, and suddenly precision, holiness, gentleness, and biblical ethics become urgent concerns. I'm sorry, but no. I don't buy it anymore. If your greatest outrage is reserved for the people exposing rot instead of the people creating it, you are not protecting the church. You are protecting the machine.

Jentzen Franklin just stood up there to call out the “haters” and anyone who spoke up about Joni, then turned around and said how much he loves Joni’s kids. This is abusive behavior and God help us I pray eyes will be opened to that because it’s the same MO of Joni Lamb.
