and this all goes to say, i’m not even a fan of gangle. i can just objectively see that the writing for her isn’t just lackluster, it’s harmful stereotyping.

i hate dogging on indie showrunners and writers but genuinely what the fuck is gangle. #TADC

zooble is drowning in their own bits an pieces, surrounded by mirrors. and gangle… has a bunch of rotating images. of her mask deteriorating. cool.

—which yes, is a huge fear for those of us who struggle with episodes. but the punishment completely lacks a solid punch, whereas jax gets his skin ripped off. ragatha (who has her own writing issues, i know) has her mother stabbing her in the chest. —

imo, pomni and gangle got the most lackluster “ultimate punishment,” which i know pomni’s has already been discussed at length so i won’t get into that. but gangle specifically has a rotating image of herself falling into mania—

— a manic episode as “kooky crazy i love guns 🤪” crap, which is just an atrocious way to spread misinformation. i love the show, it’s just unfortunate that gangle is written as a hypersensitive, overcontrolling character when she could’ve been super interesting

the writing for gangle as a character with bipolar or BPD is unfortunate. episode 4 was just straight up demonizing people who experience manic/depressive episodes, and gangle is quite literally the most common stereotype. not to mention, episode 6 just portrays—
