The Coolidge Elementary School Green Team works to engage students in gardening, recycling, and community outreach.
























The common dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) provides a good nectar source for pollinators and a caterpillar food source.Its flowers open in the sun, closing in bad weather and at night. The young leaves can be eaten in salads and the flowers made into wine.













“Plant a tree and get oxygen free” JSSIS educating children the importance of preserving mother nature and encouraging young enthusiasts to explore our school garden.
