For those wondering: 319 acres/day is based on a total farm area in Ont in the 2016 Census (12.4 million acres) vs the 2021 Census (11.7 million acres). The difference of 582,392 acres is /5 to for an average loss/yr of 116,478.4 acres. Divide that by 365 to 319.12 acres/day.
