Absolutely disgusting and disturbing video from Charlie Kirk shooting today. Hoping for the best for him and his family. Anybody who is happy about this is a disgusting human.

You only need a small toolbox of exercises and movements to make you or your athletes feel better and perform better. You don't need to try every single exercise that you see on Instagram for shoulder pain. No single exercise can increase velocity. Period.

If you can't upwardly rotate & protract the scapula, you can potentially be subjected to pain in the throw. Movements to train this (when taught correctly): - BB bench press - DB SA OH Press - DB SA Hip Thrusted Press - Landmine Press & Protract ... and many more.

Pressing variations should not be demonized for overhead athletes, but are. You can do as many cable ERs and Prone T's as you want, but you'll still be in pain if you can't upwardly rotate the scap. There aren't many excuses to keep these out of your velocity-gain program...

The plan is different for everyone, but if you have a general framework that you stick to, it’s better than trying to sporadically hit things that haven’t been hit yet along the way. - Rehabbing any injury has its hiccups, You just have to keep showing up every single day.

The rehab process is almost never linear. Different movements will respond differently to different stimuli, and sometimes it’ll feel like a million bucks, but other times, not so much. But, the most important part of any rehab is having a structured plan.

Everyone is having a pissing contest over why Roki Sasakis Velo is down. Meanwhile I’m losing it watching this runner deke in a Chase Burns side view:

It’s not super flashy, I know. But for someone with chronic shoulder issues resulting in a surgery, it’s a huge step in the right direction This guy is going to throw up some major numbers once he’s back on the field. Count on it

Here’s an anecdote from a future “case study,” because once this guy is done with rehab, he’ll be chasing pro-ball from D3 Post-debridement (labral & RC) RHP was feeling some posterior “pinching” when performing ER at neutral Here’s what we did (it was super simple!) ⬇️
