👀 An arm for @AggieBaseball in the SEC. Cooper Powell (@cooperP_8) touched 9️⃣6️⃣ MPH today for @PadresCollege in the @FiveToolCollege League. The 5-11, 185-pound LHP averaged 93 MPH and hit 94 several times along with 95 once. Worked a slider at 84-85 MPH. Struck out 5 in 2 no-hit innings with one walk. Looks to have shown vast improvements year over year with a clean arm and pitchability. Repeatable delivery and the ball jumps out. Some run away to RHH but not afraid to go in. Coaches, here is an extended look at #uncommitted 2026 Jobe Reed's (@jobe_reed) dominant 11 strikeout CGSO last night in front of @FiveToolTexas. Reed has easily been one of the best pitchers in the state this season. The numbers are ridiculous... in his seven district/playoff starts so far this year he has only given up four earned runs in 45.1 innings of work. 74 strikeouts to 13 walks and 18 hits!  Plus fastball from a low slot that gets a ton of swings and misses. Sweeping slider that freezes right handed batters, and he consistently throws it for a strike. Big time changeup with good late action. By my count, he had twenty whiffs last night against a lineup with a bunch of guys committed to play at the next level. With their season on the line, the Panthers get an electric outing from ace Jobe Reed (@jobe_reed) to force Game 3 in front of @FiveToolTexas. The RHP pounded the zone all night with a great 3-pitch mix, proving once again he is one of the best uncommitted arms in the 2026 class. He finished off a complete game shutout with his 11th K of the night, while allowing only two hits and no walks.
