@VieVieTuber I've never committed to shaving them but even my eyebrows give me the itchy ick. Its funny that I had the reverse social conditioning because I was told if I did shave as a teen that "only whores shave above the knee" lmao

@copiumoon No fr the sensory issues are so bad for me that i shaved half of my head too bc i didnt like the feeling of hair on my ears and neck either 😭😭

I dont like body hair period. Is there some social conditioning going on? Sure. But knowing that will not make me like it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

@kashiroro They don't usually celebrate western Halloween in China so you should probably not expect that lol, but it is their spooky season soon

So this isn't to like discredit or downplay a 6th LI but realistically how are they even supposed to introduce this guy and have it make sense rapport wise? Both Caleb & Sylus were known in beta to be LI but even if they do a "surprise he's been here all along!" ⤵️

@N109er Not to say they can't just make multis to where that's not a problem and I'm confidant in their writing. I'm just interested in how they'll handle it

@N109er I mean pre- existing relationship for purposes of introducing a LI post release in MS and have it feel like he can integrate into the multis without feeling "behind" in any way. Like as in the wedding banner if you dropped a random LI with no relationship prior it would feel odd

@N109er I don't think catch up is quite the problem as much as it feeling incredibly uneven. I agree that he's going to be primarily as a way to engage new players (good sales tactic imo). I'm talking more in multi banners and MS story feeling odd with him in it.

The game's been around for 2.5yrs but there is very little main story. The Nest has appeared throughout the ms, and Sutherland had scenes... Raincoats and rogue backtrackers both connected to blowing up MC's house. I think there will be enough threads to connect with past ms events. And we'll get the romance started with the Standard Pool update and his limited solo banner. I get what you mean, but the LI's are not supposed to "catch up". But from the time of their released the game balances banner content and reward events between 6 LIs. The new LI is mostly for new(er) players anyway, so they can main him and not worry about going bankrupt trying to collect reruns...

@N109er It definitely could be him but even if he is it's not likes he has a big impact on MC, her story or life at the moment so it's going to feel weird in MS when we have 2 years of content with other guys and next to no connection with this one (no diss on him or the 6th)

It's Sutherland. He is connected to The Nest and the raincoats. So you see him in 2 cut scenes with Rafayel (let's assume this is an otome where LIs do interact in the main story and it's not an issue, like it isn't for majority in the genre), you read relevant information about him in WU Story 05, 06, 30. Main story Chapters: Under Deepspace "Trap", ToY Chapter 01 & "Islands a Pawns", also relevant because of Randal from The Nest: ToY "One sided Heist" + Rafayel's Anecdote "Addictive Pain". Also, because Sutherland took over a brain-computer lab anything to do with consciousness as data could also be relevant. It doesn't have to be Sutherland (although it is most likely to be him), but 6th is connected to raincoats, The Nest and EonCore Tech. That's already laid out.

@APPLEINMYHEART Caleb's bday PV last year was on june 5th(CN) released June 9th/8th. There's likely a rerun in between with that being announced sometime around the 28th-30th

since sylus's banner ends on the 31st, will we get caleb's bday pv around thursday or friday??🥺

@xyzfy26 No like same. I'm sure he's dropping, he definitely exists. But it also definitely does not and will not make any sense lol. I'll keep rooting for a captain jenna/tara twist 😭

@_undertaker13 That's kind of my feeling with it, the clues we do have are so minimal that him coming out 2 years post game launch is going to feel weird no matter what. Sylus got in early enough and was hinted well so it was fine. Caleb had a pre-existing relationship and was in MS already

@copiumoon I played the ms from the start again and didn't see any clue about a new guy lol in one day, mc meets xavier, then rafayel, then zayne, gets a calls from caleb and sees the robotic eye from sylus right next...

So if they drop a "it was nero in disguise" twist like so what? He has barely any dialog and basically nothing to do with MC. Idk good luck to 6th (I do believe he exists) but If people already call Caleb the npc turned LI that dude is going to get unfortunately clowned on hard

I can't think of a single male npc that would make sense for it to even be interesting. Even if it were to be nero or sutherland or even something crazy like viper/isaiah. Captain Jenna or tara are the only ones that the twist would be surprising but neither are male ⤵️
