This is for my people looking for freelance clients/jobs in 2025 Let 2025 be the last time you’d use fear mongering and scary headlines in your cold pitch. You’re scaring off your potential clients. One sent me an email and said my book launch is at risk. I didn’t event bother reading. That’s how one insulted me yesterday said I don’t know what I’m doing that I need to work with him. As howwwww You’re scaring people off. And I get it, I’ve done it before. Infact, most coaches will ask you to do it. But it’s no longer working Lead with value instead. Flatter the client (everyone likes flattery). Then tell them what you can do to improve the GREAT things they’ve already put in place (don’t shit on their work). Okay??? Oya go forth and get lots of clients

I feel so insanely bad for the people I coached 4-5 months ago... I had no idea what I was doing. Couldn’t even get results for myself. My coaching honestly just confused ppl. If I worked with you you more than 4 months ago, do yourself a favour & forget everything I said. My free content now is more valuable lol. Learn from that.

I've been sending emails for DTC brands since 2020. And have built 1,000s of flows. The sweet spot we found for email flows: 6-8 emails. If it’s too few: - You only catch hot leads - Leave money on the table - Miss the hesitant buyers If it’s too many: - People tune out - Sequence fatigue - Diminishing returns But hitting that 6–8 email range balances engagement and revenue perfectly.

@adeife_adeoye Just imagine it took you years to grind and start seeing little success, then someone else wants to get all of that in 3 months. And they expect you to make it happen for them because they paid you 100k. Burst my head. 😂 Stay away from lifestyle marketing always.

@adeife_adeoye In my opinion, lifestyle marketing isn't marketing. Show your lifestyle because you want to show it, not to make sales. If you attract people who want to buy from you or learn from you just so they too can drive the cars that you drive, then you're in huge soup.

Lifestyle marketing is a trap, don’t fall for it. There was a time I posted my income, my spending, my monthly earnings. It didn’t come from a bad place, but it did me a disservice. First, it’s rookie marketing. When you don’t know how to sell your product, you default to lifestyle. Second, you attract people chasing quick money cause of your lifestyle. Third, it warps your priorities. You start thinking about upgrading your lifestyle so you can show off more. Instead of how to up your value. Fourth, people start rooting for your downfall (lowkey) 😂. I got tired of it and stopped. Instead, I’d bank on my product, my value, and my substance. I started sharing business concepts from my MBA and I’ve attracted better people ngl. If you’re gonna buy from me, do it cause you see value not cause you see lifestyle 🙏
