@Pou_Egg @dekubunnie @catslife3D I don’t know about bipolar, but my grandma has bpd. My mom does not, but I have bpd. Just because I have it does not mean that I will pass down it to my kid. It’s mostly develops off of what happens in your life, genetics and brain chemistry.

@coracaIs @dekubunnie @catslife3D Is bipolar not genetic and bpd caused by trauma? I think if you have bpd yourself and get a kid that your kid only have Some symptoms or some struggles but not the disorder it self?

I didn’t agree with my diagnosis for a long time, but i have realized that it is what most fits my mental state and how i react and think. for awhile i believed it was adjustment disorder, but it kept persisting.

@ilymyveilmont @catslife3D @dekubunnie @absltassdestryr as i said in another comment, depending on the relationship. if they were sexually emotionally or physically abused, it can definitely affect it. not to mentions bpd steams from genitive or a chemical imbalance in your brain. many things can trigger it, i was lit diagnosed at 12.

@coracaIs @catslife3D @dekubunnie @absltassdestryr i’m a psychologist, everyone will tell u u just do not diagnose people under 21 with any form of personality disorders as it can simply be mistaken. especially as in the screenshot - bpd does not come from a childish relationship at 13yo
