I fully agree that Burke is in prison for violating a court order. However, I think it’s important to acknowledge the root of the case. The court order arose because Burke refused to comply with his suspension. The suspension was the direct result of Burke’s objection, and his manner of objection, to compelled use of they/them pronouns for a singular male student.

Interesting perspective when the system clearly produces, interprets and enforces "the laws". Might also be a bit excessive. For example: I broke "the law" once and drove 80 in a 55. Got caught and paid some small amount of money. I think most would agree that what I did was much more dangerous than what Enoch or his family are accused of. What I did was dangerous to other people, what Enoch did is dangerous to the system. ....very, very different.

@corcokev @TRobinsonNewEra In all of these cases it's repression of individuals by the system, socialism. The UK, Vietnam (1975-86) and the Nazi/National Socialists. In all these cases, the government attempts to control society to achieve "equity", which means whatever they want it to mean.
