@Genki_JPN I really don't get why Square Enix struggles so much at making new games. It's not only Final Fantasy, but also Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts. Just give me a cool story, a bit to explore and a good soundtrack. It isn't that hard.

@AthenaPortly @theWellRedMage All of this is true. But still sales aren't that great. Just look at Resident Evil. Final Fantasy should be at least in the same range, if not higher.

@coreofato @theWellRedMage Not a real problem. They're just crybabies. XVI is probably the only one where sales were genuinely low. Every single mainline game has been profitable enough for them to continue making more. They're just never happy with sales. The PS exclusivity wasn't the best choice either.

@valigo It's because the scale starts at maybe 40, 70 is mediocre and good games often get 90+ The system is broken and journalists are to blame.

Game journos invented this huge scale, but this is how a general public sees review scores.
