@BlueMoon_Mining There's like 4 miner setups for hydro... But you need 3 phase.. not doing that residential. If you did air... All of us with shed videos is the route to go. Or just buy the miner and I'll deal with the infrastructure cost and stuff. Haha.

@CoreX_Hosting Wondering how much it would cost for a small setup for only a few miners, or if it’s even possible to make such a setup in a house. I was thinking about eventually buying a hydro unit and having it hosted so glad to know there’s a nearby facility that host hydro!

@CoreX_Hosting That’s not bad, hardware is similar in cost so that’s not bad at all. Hopefully over time it may get cheaper as well!

@BlueMoon_Mining Umm its about 1.5x to 2x the cost of Air. That is if you are starting with a green field. The electrical is the same up until the container. The containers are the difference in price. Nowhere near as bad as it use to be.

decided to run each 565W panel back to it's own MPPT controller. (I"m on the West Coast and there are a ton of Camper Vans etc that I can resell these MPPTs to when the time comes). Decided to run everything in 10AWG on the solar side even though these Panels have a Max I rating of 14A. It makes for easier MPPT upgrades if I choose to parallel Panels. This is the boring board to be honest. I'm trying hard to not need an inverter as power bricks are litterally wattage sucking little bastards. I"m designing a series of 12V and 19V distribution systems that will be controlled by Home Assistant and open LV contactors when there is Ample sunshine. My goal is to only mine from the Sunshine. If it ain't sunny then oh well. Tomorrow's episode will be hopefully lifting 2 more 565W panels up onto the carport. Moving 2 strings of 24V batteries over to the 'solar shed' where all of my solar powered phone miners are. Completing the 4/0 cabling from each string back to the busbars. (All this while leaving a currently operational and functional Solar mining setup online....) I like to complicate shit... I don't know why.
