@coreyagordon @KidsInNeed I’ve been teaching for 17 yrs and have had to promote, crowdfund, and pester just about anyone who would listen just to help my amazing students.Teachers will do what it takes, sadly, just to get the additional resources that districts don’t provide because students just need it.

I feel for medical professionals & teachers. Both are caught in a no-win, brutally stressful position of trying to do their jobs in a toxic, irrational & tragic environment. Neither profession has a say in the matter, both suffer from the consequences. nbcnews.com/think/opinion/…

@LisaLiss22 @KidsInNeed You're neither stupid nor worthless, and here's a study that proves that out: mckinsey.com/industries/pub…. Bottom-line assessment: "a computer is no match for a classroom as a place for kids to learn." In other words, kids need teachers, not techies.

Candid teacher feedback re this past year: Between the hateful school board meetings, protests outside our school and the never ending Zoom prep, this school year ruined every bit I love about teaching. Praying I get my mojo back. Praying this for all you teachers! @KidsInNeed

Thank you for recognizing that there is indeed a need for such basic items as pencils. Many don't understand that even in a digital age, kids still need core supplies, and a break from screens. #postforpencils @KidsInNeed @WeRTiconderoga
