@ChrisOnRacing Got to attend the #DetroitGP today and there were some awesome battles coming down the straight and into the hairpin. Also, bonus of being out of Belle Isle is people get to enjoy their park without a race track being constructed.

Say what you will about the new #DetroitGP track but I was just watching a load of battles made even more dramatic looking by bumps and epic power slides at almost every turn.

@danawanzer I’m pretty sure that informal science.org had a repository of sorts, but all specific to informal science evaluations. When I was in grad school I always thought there was something to study there, but never got to it 😂

@clysy @zachtilton Working in healthcare now as an evaluator there are many evaluative fields in play billed as quality and analytics. Both important, but lacking the ability to bring context to data in a meaningful way.

@zachtilton To expand, the industries I’ve seen adopt data science the fastest are healthcare, finance, and tech. Usually places with lots of data and lots of money.
Industries that support most evaluators are government, nonprofit, foundations, and NGOs. Not as much data, not as much $.
