@PiePony1 @DamianGreen Incorrect. I have seen this all over and it’s plain false. Gore was declared president-elect for about 2-3 hours, before that was retracted. Then Bush was declared president-elect around 2am the next day. Then THAT was retracted. We had no declared president-elect till 12/12.

We should celebrate American democracy today, and hope that a peaceful transition of power shows why democracy is the best system humanity has to govern itself.
