@Mahmoud_Damisi @femiazubuike Same thing he was saying in his post. We are now so used to abnormalities and claiming that politicians should go “against the base of principles”. Do you understand what you are saying at all?
English

@femiazubuike Politicians are meant to Politick. They exists to. Being involved in politics translates to one going against the base of principles. That's the reality.

Last week, @PeterObi was at an “opposition summit” in Ibadan. We said it clearly then these unprincipled drifters and their structure of criminality have nothing to offer besides empty words. But a majority of his brainwashed supporters couldn’t handle the truth.
Now @Peterobi the captain of the gravy train has moved yet again, and those who were misled will once more follow the most directionless political opportunist to ever exist in this clime. #AACOurParty

Yeah absolutely! the difference is APC after sharing amala and garri still went ahead to build a situation room and opened it months ago! they’ve started “coronating” candidates, they have also activated polling agents across the country!
yet the people that are the epitome of holiness that will never share amala and corn can’t do any of those things tha are fundamental to technical infrastructure of any political ambition! after yo share amala finish you go still go polling booth!
I’m just calling it as it is! you don’t have to like it, 9 months to election this man doesn’t even have a political party bcos he’s sensed they’ve refused to “coronate” him in ADC so he’s out looking for another party to “coronate” him!
but i’m the bad guy for pointing it out!
if you don’t have a party 9 months to election how do you intend to mobilize polling agents to make sure you don’t get cheated, and pls don’t tell me this is bcos nigeria’s political system is bad.
even in the most advanced democracies Like the US, Canada & the UK, parties have polling agents monitoring votes at every polling unit and have situations rooms/war rooms to make sure the numbers tally! they even run polls months and years before elections to feel the pulse of the electorate and consequently moderate their narratives.
no wam sha! Elections go soon come and go. everybody eye go clear again! i no kuku get any horse in the race!
Mayowa A. Balogun@Sweeegu
😂😂😂😂😂 unprepared meaning you’re doing doing all the dumb shit people do to get elected here like sharing amala and constant bribery

@NigeriaStories How many times has BAT flown to France since he became President? Are these official state visits or 'private' trips? Seriously, what exactly is in France?
English

@BolajiADC 100m for a piece of paper or for what exactly? How will a person buying that form go in and want to serve the people?

Fellow Nigerians, good morning.
I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you.
Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances.
We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal.
More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism.
We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power.
Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise.
Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them.
However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building.
Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated.
And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions.
There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline?
Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from.
Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@matajson @Hampo_Chima Add a bit of context to your post so you are not misunderstood. I misunderstood you too.
English

@Hampo_Chima You are misunderstanding my tweet, oh. I am only re-echoing the claim Soludo made about Peter Obi, and that he would have a chance to put that claim to the test.
English

If ADC doesn’t work, I’m stepping away from the 2027 election entirely. At this stage, with only months to go, we can’t afford to be jumping from one party to another.
Switching parties now would only trigger fresh internal conflicts, weaken the structure, and slow down progress—while APC continues to consolidate its strength.
It’s time to be focused and take this seriously.

I Declined the Ibadan “Opposition Summit” Nigerians Deserve a Genuine Alternative, Not Recycled Failure
I was invited to attend the so-called “Opposition Summit” in Ibadan, but I declined.
There is no need to pretend that the same men (and a few women) who held Nigeria to ransom for years, presiding over stagnation, corruption, and systemic decay, can suddenly reinvent themselves as champions of progress or defenders of the people.
Not all Nigerians are suffering from amnesia.
For the avoidance of doubt, our revolutionary party, the African Action Congress (@aacparty ), will not be part of any charade designed to recycle failed political actors under the guise of “opposition.”
Instead, we are committed to presenting a formidable, people-driven alternative, one rooted in integrity, accountability, and genuine transformation.
We will mobilize Nigerians across the country to rally behind a credible vision that rejects the decadence and deception represented by both the @OfficialAPCNg and their opportunistic counterparts in ADC, PDP, Labour Party and elsewhere
Nigeria does not need a rearrangement of the same broken pieces, it needs a complete break from the past.

@Das_Racist @Adaigboglobal Her points flew right over your head. If you don’t understand Nwanyi Ocha and how deeply she has accepted and integrated into Igbo culture, then you seriously need to travel.

@Adaigboglobal You people need to stop worshipping white people. They are not gods. If this woman was a non Igbo black none of you would even care about her content.

@kelvinho_deebo @corleenx @Imranmuhdz Same APC that forces people to register. My friend in school work over night registering people on APC platform. I asked who were they. She said she doesn't know. They just brought NIN numbers and asked her to register them
English

Q: Atiku is coming with 6.9 million votes, Peter Obi is coming with 6.1 million votes. Do you think you can match the other guys in your ADC?
Amaechi: We are registering now in the ADC. Why haven't the 6 million registered with the ADC? Why do we have 3 million? If I were on the ballot (in 2023), I would have more than 6 million votes.
English

They just don’t care!!!
